This 1965 Ford Mustang custom fastback is finished in Gunmetal Blue
with contrasting light blue Le Mans stripes. It is powered by an
upgraded 460ci V8 engine mated to a Toploader 4-speed manual
transmission. This Mustang received a comprehensive restoration
with many Shelby upgrades, including a rear-mounted battery,
non-functional side brake scoops, plexiglass quarter-windows and
10-spoke Shelby wheels. The engine was rebuilt along with the
transmission, which also received complete refurbishment, including
new syncros, clutch, flywheel and bell housing. The Holley 4-barrel
carburetor was disassembled, rebuilt and tuned, and there is an MSD
ignition. A serpentine belt assembly system smoothly powers all
accessories, including a custom air-conditioning system and power
steering. An aluminum radiator keeps everything cool. There is a
custom Ram Air intake atop the Holley carb that mates up to the
fiberglass hood. The reinforced chassis incorporates Shelby-style
subframe connectors, traction bars and disc brakes on all four
corners. MagnaFlow mufflers exit in front of the rear wheels. The
interior features an upgraded blue and white pony interior with
simulated wood grain on the center console and dash, Dakota DIgital
electronic gauges that accurately display engine vitals, and a
Bluetooth stereo with front and rear speakers and an under-dash
electric antenna. **TITLED AS 1965 FORD FASTBACK**
