This 1969 Shelby GT500 fastback, Serial No. 0885, is a heavily documented original car. It is one of 1,157 built for the model year. Under the hood, this GT500 is powered by a 428 Cobra Jet V8 engine. Power is transferred through an original 4-speed close-ratio manual transmission to the original 3.50:1 Traction-Lok rear differential. The undercarriage remains unrestored and authentic, with factory finishes intact. This Colorado-based GT500 presents some original paint with gold GT500 side stripes, with excellent body panel fitment and gap alignment. All Carlite-stamped glass is original, and the interior is also original and well-preserved, including the bucket seats, door panels, dash, carpet and trim. The trunk compartment remains unrestored with its original mat, spare tire and tools.
