This custom 1949 Chevrolet 5-window pickup was the recipient of a
complete, professional nut-and-bolt restoration that was just
completed in November 2025 and has test/tune miles only. It is
powered by a new Chevrolet Performance 350 crate engine producing
357hp, coupled to a new Summit Racing 350 Turbo 3-speed automatic
transmission. This combination is linked to a new Currie 9-inch
posi-traction rear end with 3.70 gears. This beautiful '49's
underpinnings have been upgraded with a S10 chassis that was
stripped to bare metal and freshly painted. It has completely new
suspension and power steering components. Stopping is handled with
a new power-assisted Wilwood master cylinder and Wilwood disc
brakes on all four corners, while engine cooling is provided by an
upgraded aluminum radiator with electric fan. The custom interior
features a 1959 Chevrolet Impala dashboard with new AutoMeter
gauges, custom wood steering wheel, custom red leather seat with
matching door panels, a chrome Ididit tilt steering column, Lokar
tall shifter, Vintage Air climate-control system and an Alpine
radio with Kicker speakers. The beautiful patina on this '49 is
protected by a product called Sweet Patina Sauce. The exterior
features a new grille, emblems and bumpers. This custom 5-window
rides on BFGoodrich wide whitewall radial tires mounted on new
black 15-inch wheels.
