This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro 427 COPO re-creation is powered by a
date-code-correct 427/450hp V8 engine paired with a Muncie M22 Rock
Crusher close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission. This Camaro has
undergone a comprehensive restoration performed to high standards
using OEM and NOS components to re-create the specifications and
appearance of Chevrolet's iconic muscle car, the 427 COPO. The
engine features correct-year aluminum heads and factory-style
detailing throughout, built to replicate the original 427 COPO
power unit. The engine bay is finished to concours standards with
proper decals, fasteners and finishes. Power is transferred to the
rear wheels through a performance rear axle assembly, providing
authentic big-block driving characteristics. It also features power
steering and power disc brakes. The body is refinished in Fathom
Green paint with factory-style hideaway headlights, front and rear
spoilers, and 15-inch five-spoke Rally-style wheels wrapped in
period-correct Firestone Wide Oval tires. All brightwork, glass and
trim have been restored or replaced with OEM-quality components for
a factory-correct appearance. The cabin is restored in black
houndstooth with bucket seats and period-correct instrumentation,
trim and center console. Every surface from the dash to the door
panels has been refinished to original standards. The vehicle has
been driven 3,604 miles since completion.
