This 1970 Jaguar XKE Series II is powered by its original inline
6-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. It
retains its original mechanical components, verified during
inspection when the oil pan was removed and the standard original
bearings were found to be wearing correctly, supporting the
indicated mileage, as well as service receipts that are included. A
test drive confirmed smooth performance, handling and braking.
Following inspection, services were completed, including
installation of a new Everflex British grain black convertible top,
four new tires and seat covers. The Series II features include
combined shoulder and lap belts, reclining seats with headrests,
center console, telescopic steering column with a wooden
three-spoke steering wheel and the original Series II boot cover in
excellent condition. It is finished in Sable with a beige interior
and black top and boot. Included with the car are the original
owner's manuals, spare tire and Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate
of Authenticity. Additional items accompanying the car include the
original seat hides for originality. Other property includes
service records and a DVD containing service photos, a leather
pouch containing the original operating, service and maintenance
handbook, a lubrication chart, oil and lubricant guarantee and
service passport, a front license plate bracket, knock-off hammer
and knock-off tool, top boot and lady's footrest, along with a copy
of the original Passport to Service documents and one key fob.
