This custom 1959 Chevrolet Impala is a professionally built and
restored example with custom chassiswork to handle the upgraded
powerplant, including a new 540ci V8 engine with BDS fuel injection
and a BDS 871 blower, attached to a Gear Vendors 6-speed automatic
transmission and Mark Williams rear axle. This example features
power steering and Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes. It also
includes a highly detailed engine compartment, brand-new fuel cell
system, new wiring system, two VIAIR compressors, and air tanks for
raising and lowering the Ridetech air suspension system. The
exterior includes professionally restored stainless, aluminum and
chrome surrounding a Deep Black paint and shaved door handles with
remote door poppers. This Impala rides on Intro two-piece billet
wheels, 19-inch in the front and 20x15 in the rear, covered in
Mickey Thompson tires. The interior is restored and customized,
including an era-correct black vinyl and striped cloth seat
coverings, an OE-style steering wheel and Dakota Digital gauges,
with a brand-new Vintage Air system installed, as well as a
2,000-watt Alpine stereo system. This example has over $350,000
invested, with upgrades totaling over $100,000.
