This 1979 Dodge D100 is an authentic Li'l Red Express that has been
professionally transformed into a Pro-Street custom pickup known as
"Pro Red," blending factory heritage with modern performance. "Pro
Red" is powered by a Keith Black built 426 HEMI engine with
dual-plug aluminum heads, Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection
and a custom 3-inch exhaust system routed through the signature
dual vertical chrome stacks. The engine is paired with a 727
TorqueFlite automatic transmission featuring a high-stall converter
and a Dana 60 rear end. The truck is finished in Deep Red with
signature Li'l Red Express graphics. A hard tonneau cover conceals
a relocated fuel cell and battery, while Cragar Pro-Street wheels
and new Mickey Thompson SR radial tires complete its muscular
stance. Other equipment includes power steering, power brakes and
an aluminum radiator. The interior maintains classic Dodge styling,
updated with select performance enhancements for improved
functionality. Extensive documentation accompanies the build,
including photos and memorabilia detailing its show history. "Pro
Red" was featured in the October 2000 issue of Mopar Action
magazine and earned First Place at the Meadow Lake Cruisers Show &
Shine. 53,733 miles (title reads exempt).
