This four-wheel-drive 1978 Chevrolet K10 custom pickup is powered
by a 350ci V8 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and
a GM 205 transfer case. The truck features Dana axles fitted with
new Warn locking hubs and is equipped with power steering and power
front disc brakes. It underwent a full frame-off restoration in
which the body was removed, refinished piece by piece and
reassembled before being finished in Concrete Gray paint by PPG.
The frame was reinstalled using Energy Suspension body mounts and
bushings, and the engine bay was highly detailed with custom
Chevrolet retro valve covers and a Summit Racing 650-cfm
carburetor. The custom interior is finished in Imperial Garnett
with matching door panels, steering wheel and sun visors, along
with a custom bench seat featuring built-in cup holders. Oxblood
carpet and matching kick panels complement the interior, which also
includes a Bluetooth stereo with Kicker speakers. The restoration
incorporated all-new smoked glass with new seals, chrome and trim,
as well as a brand-new bed. A custom-built Ron Woods driveshaft was
added for the Rough Country lift kit, along with new
stainless-steel braided brake lines. This K10 rides on new Hostile
Predator wheels with 35x13.50-inch tires and is completed by a new
stainless-steel chambered exhaust system.
