For Sale at Auction: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro COPO in Scottsdale, Arizona
This documented 1969 Chevrolet COPO Camaro, Code 9561, is one of
approximately 822 4-speeds built for the U.S. market. It is an
extremely limited-production factory-original Tuxedo Black example,
retaining its original VIN plate and original Cowl Tag. This car is
ACA Legend Concours-Class Gold certified, scoring 97.1 of 100
points, and is equipped with a correct and date-correct
COPO-specific L72 427ci engine, a correct and date-correct Muncie
M22 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt rear axle. Only test
miles have been added since completion of a highly detailed
concours-quality restoration utilizing all-original sheet metal,
mostly original interior, and near-exclusive use of original,
restored original and correctly dated components. The car was sold
new with Rallye wheels and white pinstripe tires, which were
retained and will be included with the sale. Documentation includes
multiple owner affidavits, period photographs, including one of
first owner Joseph Patrick with the car, ACA Legend Concours-Class
Gold plaque, ACA judging sheets, 2024 Chris White Inspection Report
and NCRS Shipping Data Report.
