This documented 1969 Chevrolet Camaro COPO, code 9561, is one of
approximately 822 4-speeds built for the U.S. market. It is an
extremely limited production factory-original Tuxedo Black example,
retaining its original VIN Plate and original Cowl Tag. The 2023
California title reads 15,576 actual miles, while the odometer
reads 15,580 miles; an odometer reading Chris White in his 2024
inspection report believes to be the correct and original mileage.
This car is ACA Legend Concours-Class Gold certified, scoring 97.1
of 100 points, and is equipped with a correct and date-correct
COPO-specific "MN" code L72 427ci engine, a correct and
date-correct Muncie M22 4-speed manual transmission and its
original COPO-specific "BE"-stamped rear axle. Only test miles have
been added since completion of a highly detailed concours-quality
restoration utilizing all-original sheet metal, all original
interior except carpet and near-exclusive use of original, restored
original and correctly dated components. The car was sold new with
Rallye Wheels and white pinstripe tires, which were retained and
will be included with the sale. Documentation includes multiple
owner affidavits, including one from first owner Joseph Patrick
with period photos, ACA Legend Concours-Class Gold plaque and
judging sheets, 2024 Chris White Inspection Report and NCRS
Shipping Data Report.
