This 1970 Chevrolet C10 short-bed custom pickup known as "Crown
Royal" was built by JPs Customs and carries Build Badge No. 30.
This truck has undergone a full frame-off, nut-and-bolt rotisserie
restoration. It is powered by a ProCharged, fuel-injected GM 350
crate V8 engine backed by a Gearstar 4-speed 700R4 transmission.
The drivetrain includes a complete CFV serpentine belt drive system
with integrated ProCharger belt and billet brackets. The suspension
is a full Pro-Touring setup by Ridetech with four-corner coilovers
and tubular front and rear components. Braking is provided by
Wilwood 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers with matching
master cylinder. The exhaust is a mandrel-bent 3-inch dual system
with Black Widow "Neighbor Haters" mufflers, coated in Cobalt
Cerakote. The chassis is high-gloss black powder-coated with all
new body bushings. The underside of the cab and bed are
Raptor-lined in a color-matched finish for sound and heat control.
The exterior has been refinished with extensive bodywork for
precise gaps and fitment. Painted in "Verde Champagne"
basecoat/clearcoat with Glacier Gold Cerakote accents, the clear
has been color-sanded and polished to a show-quality finish. Body
modifications include a smoothed cowl, marker-light delete, chin
spoiler, boltless smoothie chrome bumpers, Vanatta Fab Pro-Touring
mirrors, custom grille insert, Ringbrothers billet door handles and
all-new smoked Euro Grey glass. It rides on custom CNC-machined
Schott billet wheels, staggered at 22x10 rear and 20x8.5 front,
polished and Cerakoted in Glacier Gold. The interior features a
custom bench seat in Duck Gray grain with Champagne inserts,
matching wrapped door panels, a full TMI dash pad and French seams
throughout. The cab includes a one-off Alcantara headliner,
tailored fawn carpet with bound edges and custom mats, and a Budnik
billet steering wheel wrapped in Duck Gray, mounted to an Ididit
tilt column. Instrumentation is by Classic Instruments,
complemented by a Bluetooth retro stereo and Gen IV Vintage Air
climate control. Additional features include Ringbrothers handles
with Trique latches, relocation of the fuel tank from inside the
cab to a Rick's EFI tank mounted under the bed with a flush gas
cap, completing this high-level Pro-Touring build.
