This custom 1956 Chevrolet 210 is powered by a built 383ci V8
stroker roller engine featuring a Scat rotating assembly, Edelbrock
aluminum cylinder heads, Edelbrock fuel pump and carburetor, and an
Edelbrock Air-Gap intake manifold, with ignition provided by a
Performance Distributors DUI distributor and exhaust routed through
ceramic-coated Sanderson headers. Cooling is handled by a Be Cool
aluminum cross-flow radiator with twin Spal electric fans. Power is
sent through a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission to a Currie
9-inch rear axle with a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential. The
chassis and suspension are upgraded with Classic Performance
Products (CPP) upper and lower tubular front control arms and
custom one-off spindles, with the rear axle suspended by
inboard-mounted leaf springs. Braking is provided by Wilwood disc
brakes with inboard hat assemblies at all four corners, assisted by
a CPP master cylinder and booster. The car is mini-tubbed at the
rear and rides on Billet Specialties 18x8 front wheels and 20x10
rear wheels wrapped in Dunlop radial tires, size 235/45R18 in front
and 295/40R20 at the rear. The exterior is finished in Viper Red
and black with White Pearl, with the wind-wing windows removed and
full roll-up side glass built into the doors. The engine bay is
detailed with multiple polished and chromed components, including
hood hinges, air cleaner housing and dipstick. Inside, the car
features custom black leather upholstery with silver piping, a
largely stock-style restored dash and instrument cluster with
chrome-plated panels, a tri-spoke chrome steering wheel, chrome
column-mounted gear selector, chrome floor pedals and a full set of
AutoMeter gauges.
