This custom 1969 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a 502ci V8 engine
backed by a TH400 automatic transmission and posi-traction rear
end. The 502 engine is fitted with an LS6 intake manifold, Atomic
MSD fuel injection, MSD ignition components, complementary chrome
accessories and a March Performance serpentine belt system. Cooling
and exhaust features include electric cooling fans, aluminized
exhaust tubing and MagnaFlow mufflers with chrome exhaust tips. The
chassis is equipped with adjustable suspension components,
including QA1 coilover shocks, a composite single-leaf rear spring,
adjustable rear strut rods and heavy-duty stabilizer bars. The
power braking system is configured with drilled and slotted rotors,
Wilwood calipers and braided steel brake lines. This Corvette also
features a fiber-optics console display and a complete Dakota
Digital gauge cluster with ambient lighting. Convenience and
comfort equipment includes power steering, power brakes, air
conditioning, a tilt telescopic steering column, power windows with
factory-tinted glass, a removable rear window and T-Tops. Audio
components include a custom remote stereo system with Bluetooth
capability and a rear speaker bar, while the original-style
appearance is retained inside with custom door panels that
incorporate 1955 Corvette "Chevrolet" fender emblems with 24-karat
gold "V" insets. It was shown at the 2024 NCRS National Convention
in Hampton Roads, VA, where it received a 100-point score and the
Concours 427 Award. The build shows approximately 250 miles of use
since completion.
