This custom 1961 Lincoln Continental convertible nicknamed "Mr.
Oswald" is a real triple-black suicide-door convertible. Only 2,857
convertibles were made in 1961 from a total of 25,160 cars
produced. This car has been upgraded from its original form to a
modern-day cruiser. The upgrades include a rebuilt 430ci 8-cylinder
engine paired with an automatic transmission and an updated
electric fan, along with a disc brake conversion, Slam Specialties
airbags and Choppin' Block tubular air-ride suspension with shocks
at all four corners. The body remains straight, and the car lays
flat on the ground over custom 22-inch wheels. The fully functional
convertible top was restored by John Cashman in 2017 and serviced
again in 2024. The interior includes Dakota Digital gauges, custom
door panels by Vaughn Designs and a Bluetooth audio system with
Focal speakers. The vehicle also comes with the original owner's
manual and convertible top user guide.
