Nicknamed "A Clockwork Orange," this custom 1959 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a big-block 540ci V8 engine built by Craiger Race Engines of Clymer, NY, and is topped with a polished TBS 8-71 Roots-style supercharger fed by dual Quick Fuel Technology carburetors and crowned with a period-inspired Enderle-style Streetcatcher scoop mated to a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission with a high-stall converter, feeding a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end fitted with a limited-slip differential and heavy-duty axles. Airflow is managed through AFR aluminum cylinder heads, while ignition is delivered by an MSD Pro-Billet distributor paired with a high-output coil. Supporting components include an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, braided fuel lines and a polished serpentine system. It is equipped with ceramic-coated headers and exhaust, has four-wheel disc brakes and rides on polished 15-inch Crager Super Sport wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR tires, 30x12R15 in the rear and 26x6R15 up front.
