This 1968 Dodge Charger "General Lee" re-creation was built to the
likeness of the General Lee car as seen on the TV series "The Dukes
of Hazzard." It is powered by a built 440ci big-block engine
equipped with a performance camshaft, paired with a built 727
3-speed automatic transmission featuring a shift kit and stall
converter. The professional build included extensive body
preparation followed by a show-quality paint job with a wet gloss
finish. Exterior features include General Lee-style graphics and
elements including the correct decals, front push bar, wheels and
trim, and the iconic Confederate flag on the roof. It even has the
iconic-sounding dixie horns. The fully customized interior features
air conditioning, high-back leather bucket seats, a factory-style
custom console, a bespoke dash panel, custom gauges, power windows,
a CB radio, an upgraded stereo system and a custom pistol-grip
shifter. Stopping is handled with four-wheel power disc brakes, and
the car also has power steering. The underside of the decklid
features custom airbrushed artwork depicting the original cast and
was personally signed by the cast members. Included with the
vehicle is an authenticated photo of the cast posing with this car,
as well as a custom airbrushed vintage-style cooler. This Charger
has been featured in a country music video, adding to its
documented history.
