This custom 1955 Chevrolet 3200 stepside pickup is powered by a
6.0-liter LS 8-cylinder engine modified with ARP head and main
studs, LS3 cylinder heads, a Texas Speed Stage III camshaft and
Holley EFI. Power is delivered through a 4L80E automatic
transmission with overdrive to a Ford 9-inch rear end equipped with
3.70 gears and Moser 31-spline rear axles. The chassis was fully
modified and upgraded with a Ridetech air-ride suspension system,
tubular front control arms, a four-link rear setup, and front and
rear disc brakes. It rides on 20-inch Ridler wheels and lays frame
when aired out. The truck features a clearcoated man-made patina
exterior finish that complements its custom stance. The interior is
equipped with TMI bucket seats, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air,
Bluetooth sound system and a Ridetech air suspension controller
integrated into the cabin. Additional highlights include a Holley
EFI management system, custom-fabricated dark oak bed floor over an
extruded aluminum frame, and a functional latch system that allows
the bed floor to lift and reveal the detailed hardline air system
and suspension fabrication beneath. A train horn system is also
fitted for show presence.
