This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible is powered by a new
525hp 6.2-liter LS3 engine paired with a new Tremec TKX 5-speed
transmission with hydraulic clutch. This final-year C1 Corvette
underwent a complete restoration and professional build that
incorporates modern technology throughout. Its foundation is an Art
Morrison chassis with independent rear suspension. The exterior is
expertly finished in blue with silver coves complimented with a
gray convertible top. The professional build includes stainless
brake and fuel lines, custom driveshaft, DeWitts radiator, Holley
Mid-Mount front-drive system and stainless exhaust. Mechanical
updates include hydro-boost assisted Wilwood disc brakes, an
E-Stopp emergency brake, and new fuel tank with an in-tank pump and
a float-less sensor. Exterior work includes complete body and seal
replacement, rechromed or polished metalwork, new glass and a new
Stayfast canvas convertible top. The gray leather interior features
Vintage Air, a custom cluster with Dakota Digital gauges, custom
dash, custom stereo, new clock and 2.5 inches of steering column
clearance. The vehicle rides on Schott wheels with Nitto
low-profile tires. This Corvette has 131 miles since completion.
