This custom four-wheel-drive 1970 Chevrolet K20 pickup underwent a
four-year, nut-and-bolt restoration using an all-original,
rust-free body. The frame was media-blasted and powder-coated black
before reassembly. Power comes from the rebuilt original 350ci V8
engine equipped with a 350hp camshaft, paired with a refurbished
4-speed manual transmission with all-new gaskets, new clutch, power
steering pump and stainless-steel custom exhaust. The truck
features a front disc brake conversion with new stainless lines,
booster and master cylinder, new e-brake cables and relocated
aluminum gas tank with 2022 Corvette filler behind the taillight.
Additional highlights include a custom hybrid 1969 Camaro SS-style
hood, Vintage Air climate-control system with smoothed firewall,
new wiring throughout and a restored gauge cluster. The exterior
showcases rechromed original bumpers, restored "Custom Camper"
emblems, new side trim with wood grain, a wood bed with slightly
orange-tinted stain and a 4-inch lift with custom shackles to clear
35-inch Nitto tires mounted on 20-inch Fuel wheels. The interior
features a black and orange houndstooth pattern with new headliner,
carpet and door panels, new tilt steering column and wheel, chromed
shift knobs for both the 4-speed and transfer case, a custom
Autosound stereo system and all-new tinted glass. Mechanical
updates include new shocks, motor and transmission mounts,
bushings, radiator, starter and battery. Every component was
restored or replaced to factory or upgraded specification.
