This custom 1939 Dodge Deluxe is powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI v8
engine mated to a 5-speed overdrive automatic transmission. It
rolls on a fully boxed frame with a Fat Man independent front
suspension and 8.75 rear end with Detroit speed springs. This Mopar
is electronic fuel-injected and features power disc brakes, power
steering and cruise control. The year 1939 was the 25th anniversary
for Dodge and the model features an art deco design. The nose and
hood vent louvers were removed, the cowl vent was filled, and body
and door handles were shaved. The headlights feature 40 Ford rings.
The design is highlighted by the 61 Dodge Polara hubcaps. To match
the exterior, the stock dash was cleaned up and fitted with Dakota
Digital gauges, a Vintage Air climate-control system and a Pioneer
stereo. The shifter is out of a 2011 Dodge Charger. The seats and
rest of interior were finished in beautiful gray Ultraleather. An
Ididit tilt steering column and Banjo steering wheel were also
installed, along with Newport two speed wipers and a brand-new
wiring harness. The center console is custom-built and remote fobs
open the doors.
