This 1963 Ford F-100 Unibody pickup received a show-quality
restoration and custom build, blending modern technology with
classic Ford styling. The Unibody, offered from 1961 to 1963, is a
rare version of the F-100. Ford integrated the cab and the bed into
a single, continuous body structure, which was then mounted onto a
traditional ladder frame. This Unibody is powered by a 347/390hp
Ford stroker V8 engine paired with a Twisted Torque Stage II AOD
4-speed automatic transmission featuring a 2,600-stall converter
and B&M Quicksilver shifter. The engine build includes a Scat
crankshaft and rods, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads and
intake manifold, roller camshaft, March serpentine belt drive, and
Sniper fuel injection system with matching distributor and ignition
control. Exhaust flows through stainless-steel headers into a
2.5-inch X-pipe dual-exhaust system. Cooling is handled by an
aluminum Champion four-core radiator. The chassis features a No
Limit Engineering Wide Ride independent front suspension with a
custom front crossmember, tubular upper and lower A-arms, coilover
shocks, sway bar, and drilled and slotted front disc brakes with
ceramic pads. The rear includes a Ford 8.8-inch posi-traction
differential fitted with 3.73 gears, drilled and slotted rear disc
brakes with ceramic pads, a Heidts four-bar rear suspension with
coilover shocks and Panhard bar, and a rack & pinion power steering
system with adjustable proportioning valve. The truck rides on
staggered U.S. Mags Rio Grande two-piece forged wheels measuring
18x9 inches in the front with 255/45R18 Toyo Proxes ST2 tires and
20x10 inches in the rear with 295/40R20 Toyo tires. The interior
includes bucket seats, a custom center console, power windows,
remote door actuators and tilt steering with a custom aluminum
steering wheel. Additional interior equipment includes Vintage Air
climate control, a Dakota Digital Retrotech RTX gauge cluster, and
a Kenwood audio system with remote control, 500-watt sub amplifier,
450-watt stereo amplifier, MB Quart 10-inch subwoofers, Infinity
6x9-inch and 5-inch speakers, and a USB port. Other upgrades
include aluminum door handles and cranks, custom dash knobs, new
tinted glass and weatherstripping, and a new Painless wiring
harness. The exterior is finished in PPG Lime Squeeze
basecoat/clearcoat paint with Dark Shadow Gray graphics and custom
pinstriping. Body modifications include a custom forward-opening
cowl-induction hood with Copper State Components hardware, rounded
door corners, shaved handles and emblems, a custom side-opening
tailgate and a rear-mounted 16-gallon fuel tank. The truck also
features a shaved front bumper, custom lower valance and a wood bed
floor. This is a fresh build with test miles only. The sale
includes a copy of the dyno sheet.
