Powered by an 8-cylinder engine, this five-passenger 1932
Pierce-Arrow Model 54 is fitted with Phaeton coachwork, as noted in
the Standard Catalog of American Cars, and has received over
$45,000 in recent mechanical, electrical and tire servicing to
ensure strong touring capability. The chassis features its
factory-style components complemented by extensive mechanical
refurbishment, and the braking system has been fully serviced as
part of the recent work. Exterior features include its raked
windshield, roll-up windows, dual side mounts, pilot rays, wire
wheels, an integrated trunk with an additional trunk rack and the
Pierce-Arrow hallmark integrated fender-mounted headlights. The
interior is trimmed in red leather upholstery, completed during its
restoration. Additional notable features include its restoration
performed by White Post approximately 30 years ago and the
inclusion of historical photographs documenting its appearance
decades ago. This Model 54 has been shown at CCCA events, where it
scored 95 points and was awarded a Vehicle of Distinction at the
Atlanta Concours in 2019, and it is accompanied by service invoices
totaling over $45,000. Provenance includes prior ownership by Al
Wallace, Sonny Abagnale and Gene Gazza and, according to the
Pierce-Arrow Club, it is believed that only six examples of this
body style remain, with 1,554 Pierce-Arrow vehicles produced across
all body styles for 1932.
