Pace Car built at the Norwood, OH, plant. It is powered by an L78
396/375hp JH-code V8 engine paired with a 1969 Muncie M22 4-speed
manual transmission and a 3.73 12-bolt posi-traction rear axle. The
car retains its original Z11 Trim Tag and features the correct
intake manifold, carburetor and A.I.R. smog equipment. Finished in
Code 50-A Dover White with orange stripes, it has a Code 720 orange
houndstooth Z87 interior and a C05 white power convertible top.
Equipment includes a ZL2 cowl-induction hood, Z22 Rally Sport and
Z27 Super Sport packages, D80 spoilers, YA1 deluxe seatbelts, ZJ7
YJ Rally wheels, LOF-dated glass, tach and gauges, power steering,
power brakes, spiral shocks, T3 headlights, wood steering wheel and
center console. It rides on Goodyear Polyglas tires and includes a
correct spare and jack. Documentation includes an NCRS Shipping
Data Report confirming it was sold new at Potamkin Chevrolet in
Philadelphia, PA. This Camaro underwent a complete rotisserie
restoration.
