This 1965 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup nicknamed "Boosted Bertha" is
powered by a Mast Motorsports 408ci LS engine topped with a
polished Magnuson LS7 TVS2800 supercharger and a FAST Big Mouth
102mm throttle body. The engine features 1000cc injectors, a
Callies Compstar crank and rods, ARP fasteners, an LSX turbo
camshaft and Porterbuilt fabricated headers feeding a 3-inch
Flowmaster stainless exhaust system. Cooling is handled by a
Flexalite custom radiator with dual fans. Power is delivered
through a TCI 4L80E automatic transmission with a 10-inch billet
converter. The truck rides on a fully custom chassis built by
SloshTubz and features a one-off cantilever system designed for the
QA1 adjustable shocks, allowing for an exceptionally low stance.
The Mango Green exterior finish was applied by Eddie Jewell of
Jewell Restorations and is complemented by custom Budnik Pivot
wheels. The cab features a fully custom interior by Relicate Custom
Leather, with Chocolate leather upholstery completed by Billy
Hoover Street Rods, incorporating a German square-weave pattern.
Comfort and function include integrated air conditioning and a
handheld air-ride controller. This build was featured in the
Replacement Parts booth at the 2015 SEMA Show, appeared on the
cover of Truckin' magazine and was highlighted across multiple
MotorTrend and print publications.
