This 1970 Honda CT70 minibike has been totally refurbished, with
work involving refinishing the bike in Metallic Red with white and
black graphics and installing a replacement 72cc 4-stroke
single-cylinder engine sourced from a 1972 model. The bike is also
equipped with an automatic clutch, a 3-speed automatic transmission
with manual mode, a kickstarter, an aftermarket carburetor, an
upswept exhaust system, an inverted fork, 10-inch three-piece
wheels mounted with Bridgestone tires, drum brakes, trail lighting,
a black vinyl-upholstered seat, twist-locking folding handlebars
and a side stand. The hollow T-bone frame was refinished under
previous ownership. Color-matched components include the chain
guard, fork covers, swingarm and headlight bucket, and the two-up
seat is trimmed in black. Brightwork includes the exhaust heat
shield and fenders, and additional details include a right-side
grab handle, folding passenger foot pegs and a side stand.
Suspension consists of an inverted fork with rubber gaiters in
addition to a pair of shocks mounted to the swingarm, and braking
is handled by drums at both ends. Twist-locking folding handlebars
frame a Nippon Seiki 50 mph speedometer that displays recommended
shift points.
