For Sale at Auction: 1970 Shelby GT500 in Scottsdale, Arizona
This red 1970 Shelby GT500 fastback is powered by its
matching-numbers 428ci V8 CJ engine mated to its matching-numbers
C6 3-speed automatic transmission, and is equipped with power
steering, power disc brakes, fold-down rear seat, 3.00 Trak-Loc
rear axle, air conditioning and big suspension. The entire
drivetrain has matching numbers. It was sold new at Dub Richardson
Ford in Oklahoma City, OK, in November 1969. Never restored, it
hasn't been active on the road since 1980 and was stored in a
warehouse in downtown Oklahoma City. It received a repaint in the
mid-1970s due to minor damage on the passenger quarter-panel. The
interior, undercarriage, trunk and engine compartment remain
original. This Mustang comes with two Build Sheets, a Deluxe Marti
Report and original Shelby owner card, and is listed in the Shelby
Registry. 83,349 miles (title reads exempt). From the Centre Pointe
