This custom 1970 Plymouth Satellite is powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI
V8 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic TorqueFlite transmission,
and was built by the father of the HEMI, Tom Hoover, a Chrysler
engineer also known as the HEMI King and driver for the original
Ramchargers drag racing team. The car has received a complete
comprehensive restoration. The body was stripped of paint and
redone in its original color of Citron Mist. Every part was
replaced with new or completely restored to like-new condition. The
exterior features a Roadrunner HEMI hood and taillights. Legendary
Auto Interiors completed the interior. A new non-MSD 5.7-liter HEMI
V8 engine was installed. The engine showcases a polished March
serpentine belt system, a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual
electric cooling fans, a polished Sanden performance
air-conditioning compressor, Ron Francis wiring, a new fuel tank,
power steering gear box and a Milodon deep oil pan. The detailed
restoration also included new soft-seal weatherstripping, Fat Man
2-inch drop spindles, MBM conversion front disc brakes, super stock
rear springs, 8.75-inch Sure-Grip rear end and a rebuilt
TorqueFlite automatic transmission. It is also equipped with a sway
bar with new bushings, upper and lower ball joints, Dakota Digital
dash, Classic air conditioning and heat, power steering, Classic
radio system with Kicker speakers, powder-coated front end and
Jet-Hot coating applied to the entire exhaust system, as well as
new seat belts and HEMI floor mats. 80,511 actual miles. **TITLED
