This custom 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 is powered by an upgraded
dual-quad 427ci FE side-oiler V8 engine with cross-bolted mains,
paired with a Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission. The engine
features dual 4-barrel carburetors fed by functional grille
ducting, MSD ignition concealed in the glovebox, ceramic-coated
exhaust manifolds and an aluminized exhaust system with Borla Pro
mufflers. The drivetrain includes a new driveshaft and a rebuilt
Ford 9-inch rear axle with 3.70 gearing in a posi-traction
differential. Suspension upgrades include rear traction bars and
subframe connectors. Finished in its factory Raven Black, this
Fairlane features a fiberglass scooped hood, red lower body stripes
and upgraded 427 badging. The black interior includes XL bucket
seats, a floor console, column-mounted Stewart-Warner tachometer,
under-dash Greenline gauges, a factory-look 5-speed shifter and a
radio-delete panel. Additional equipment includes Hushmat
sound-deadening, an electric fuel pump, Dapper Lighting OEM-style
LED headlights, resurfaced flywheel and new glass. It rides on
American Racing-style five-spoke wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich 70
Series tires. This Fairlane is accompanied by a binder of receipts
and service records.
