This custom 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is powered by a crate LS3 V8 engine rated at 500hp, paired with a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission and a rebuilt NP205 transfer case. The drivetrain features Auburn posi-traction 4.09 gears, Motive ring & pinion, Strange axles, new Dana 44 inner and outer knuckles, chromoly axles, new bearings and seals, locking hubs, and custom front and rear driveshafts. Engine components include Dirty Dingo mounts, a chrome serpentine system, custom pinstriped valve covers, Doug Thorley headers, a four-core aluminum radiator with dual fans and a 3-inch dual exhaust. The suspension consists of 4-inch lift leaf springs, Fox 2.0 reservoir shocks, dual front steering stabilizers and welded axle flanges for larger wheel bearings. Stopping is handled by Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with an upgraded hydro-boost unit.
