Powered by a Gen 3 Coyote 5.0-liter V8 crate engine backed by a
10-speed automatic transmission and an Atlas twin-stick transfer
case by Sexton Offroad in Utah, this custom 1977 Ford Bronco
features high-pressure direct injection and a 12.0:1 compression
ratio. Sexton Offroad also installed a replacement fuel system with
a custom fuel tank, an exhaust system and a custom wiring harness.
The chassis is equipped with replacement aftermarket springs to
lower the ride height, Bilstein shock absorbers and dampers, Warn
manually locking front hubs and a four-wheel Wilwood disc brake
system with hydro-boost assist, four-piston front calipers and
cross-drilled slotted rotors. The exterior is finished in Morning
Sky Blue with a white stripe and white hardtop and includes a Warn
M8000-S front winch, Rigid LED lighting, hood pins,
power-deployable side steps and a Sexton Offroad custom-built rear
bumper with receiver hitch and swing-out tire carrier, with a fuel
door concealed in the left door jamb. The interior features front
bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in tan leather that
extends to the dashboard, center console lid and door panels, with
dark carpets laid over Dynamat sound-deadening insulation.
Equipment includes power steering, an Alpine touchscreen head unit,
air conditioning, a locking center console and a three-spoke
steering wheel fronting a column shifter and combination instrument
cluster with a 160-mph speedometer, 8,000-rpm tachometer and gauges
for oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage and fuel
level. This Bronco rides on 17-inch Mickey Thompson wheels wrapped
in Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T tires.
