For Sale at Auction: 1959 Chevrolet 3100 in Scottsdale, Arizona

This 1959 Chevrolet 3100 pickup started life as an original four-wheel-drive vehicle and has gone through an extensive frame-off restoration. It is powered by a 350ci V8 engine backed by a 4-speed 4L60E overdrive automatic transmission and a Dana 23 divorced transfer case. The engine features a CVF racing serpentine kit, stainless-steel headers and custom Chevrolet script valve covers. Other modifications in the engine bay include moving the battery to the passenger frame rail, a four-row aluminum radiator with an electric fan, a CPP power steering box and billet Eddie Motorsports hood hinges. The engine bay has been smoothed of all the unused holes and had all of the wiring routed to give the cleanest look possible. The frame has been sandblasted and powder-coated gloss black and assembled with new stainless-steel brake and fuel lines, along with new cab mount bushings. A set of Fox shocks have been installed to the factory Napco axles. The body of the truck has been painted in GM Frost Blue and white accents and has been polished to a show finish. All the trim on the exterior has been replaced. New Euro Gray tinted glass has been installed, along with new seals and gaskets. The fuel tank has been relocated under the bed and is filled through a custom taillight fuel door. The tailgate has a set of hidden latches to get rid of the factory chains. The interior has been finished to retain the feel of the original truck. Factory gauges have been rebuilt and installed, and a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo provides the music. The interior is kept comfortable with a Vintage Air Gen V unit, and factory controls maintain the look. A TMI split bench seat and Auto Custom carpets finish off the interior. This truck rides on KMC Riot 17-inch wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich 33-inch mud-terrain tires.
