This 1957 Chevrolet 3100 custom pickup was completed in 1999 and is
powered by a 427ci small-block V8 engine mated to a 700R4 automatic
transmission. The engine was built by Harv's Speed Shop in Los
Angeles, CA, and has old-style Hilborn fuel injection by BDS. A
complete custom frame was done by No Limit Engineering with Wilwood
disc brakes and a 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust. The paint is a
bright yellow with a very small amount of gold metal flake in it.
The leather interior was done by Benny at Touch of Class in Los
Angeles, CA. Accolades include First Place in Class at the San
Francisco Grand National Roadster Show and First Place at Hot
August Nights Peppermill in Reno, NV. It has been driven 18,115
miles since the build completion.
