This 1955 Chevrolet 3100 custom pickup is powered by a 350ci V8
crate engine equipped with a Comp Cams camshaft, Edelbrock aluminum
intake manifold, HEI distributor and Holley Sniper electronic fuel
injection. Power is sent through a 700R4 4-speed automatic
transmission to a Ford 9-inch rear axle with a 3.50:1 limited-slip
differential and 31-spline axles. The truck was refurbished and
modified between 2023 and 2025, mounting the Advance Design body on
an aftermarket fabricated chassis featuring independent front
suspension, rear four-link setup, adjustable Ridetech coilovers,
power rack & pinion steering and four-wheel power disc brakes. It
is finished in green with a chrome grille, chrome bumpers, a
smoothed tailgate and dual side mirrors, and rides on 17-inch
American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in 215/65 Nexen tires.
The bed features a wood floor with stainless runners and a
flush-mount filler cap for the under-bed fuel tank. The interior is
trimmed in brown diamond-stitched vinyl with matching door panels,
black carpet and a bench seat. Outfitted with under-dash air
conditioning, Nu-Relics power windows, Lokar shifter, Dakota
Digital gauges, a tilting steering column and an American Autowire
fuse panel. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan, serpentine
drive system and dual MagnaFlow exhaust provides modern reliability
and sound. This pickup was completed in 2025 with 650 miles since
the build.
