This 1974 De Tomaso Pantera is powered by a 351ci Ford Cleveland V8
engine that has been upgraded to a 393ci stroker V8 producing
550hp, featuring polished aluminum heads and intake paired with a
polished 5-speed ZF manual transaxle. Originally finished in
yellow, it is now refinished in Ferrari Fly Yellow paint
complemented by a fully restored black interior. The restoration,
completed by PI Motorsports, included stripping and refinishing the
engine compartment to match the body's polished show-quality
finish. The engine rebuild incorporated an MSD ignition system,
Fluidyne radiator with dual fans, new polished cooling lines and
cans, and a modernized electrical system with an updated fuse box,
push-to-start button and a Vintage Air climate-control system.
Additional upgrades include dual headlights, a custom molded front
spoiler with integrated driving lights, and new coilovers, brakes
and window gears. The large factory rubber bumpers were replaced
with smaller Euro-style units at the front and rear, enhancing the
car's sleek appearance. Inside, the black upholstery features soft
inserts and yellow accent stitching in keeping with the original
design, and the factory seats, dash and door panels were all
replaced during the restoration. Exterior details are complemented
by polished Campagnolo-style wheels with new Continental
Performance tires sized 225/45/17 in the front and 285/40/17 in the
rear. This Pantera is offered with the engine bucket and a Deluxe
Marti Report. 24,921 miles (title reads exempt).
