For Sale at Auction: 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle in Scottsdale, Arizona

This custom 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle is powered by a GM LS3 V8 engine paired with a 4L60 automatic transmission. It underwent a complete frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration with all bodywork stripped to bare metal. The exterior features a custom hood scoop with wire mesh insert, a smoothed firewall and precisely aligned body panels with tightened door gaps. All metal finishing was performed by Paul Blatt before the body was primed, blocked and finished in Hot Hues DuPont paint with four layers of clearcoat, each blocked and buffed. The frame was powder-coated black, and the suspension includes Hoskins A-arms, 1.250-inch sway bar and a complete rear suspension system. The front end is equipped with Wilwood front spindles, hubs and 13-inch rotors with 6-piston calipers, while the rear features a Speedway 12-bolt posi-traction rear end with Wilwood 12-inch rotors, E-brake assembly and large 4-piston calipers. All brake and fuel lines are stainless steel, complemented by a Fuel Tank Inc. fuel system with in-tank pump. The LS3 engine installation includes new harnesses and ECU. The engine bay features hand-fabricated motor covers and air cleaner, a custom aluminum radiator, fill and overflow tanks, and power steering components - all metal-finished and painted to match the smoothed firewall. The wheel wells were also smoothed and powder-coated to match the body finish. The original Chevrolet bumpers were narrowed, smoothed and chrome-plated by Sherm's Custom Plating. The interior features a handmade aluminum center console fabricated by Dominator Street Rods and wrapped in leather. Additional components include a Dico digital gauge cluster, a Vintage Air climate control system, and custom leather upholstery throughout the seats, dash and panels with matching stitching. The console features a clock and shift plate, and the car rides on custom-offset E/T wheels.
