This 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429, KK No. 2012, is one of 857
produced for the model year. It is powered by its factory-original
matching-numbers 429ci V8 engine rated at 375hp, which was rebuilt
in 2025. Power is transferred through a matching-numbers
close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission connected to the original
3.91 Traction-Lok differential. It is finished in Candy Apple Red
and equipped with power steering, power brakes with front discs,
competition suspension, functional front spoiler and hood scoop,
and the original restored 15-inch chromed Magnum 500 wheels. The
black Clarion-knit vinyl interior includes restored high-back
bucket seats with console, Deluxe Interior Decor Group, Visibility
Group and color-keyed racing mirrors. The car was discovered in
2023 after being stored for nearly 40 years. A complete
nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration was performed by Bob Wilson at
RJ Restorations that was completed in 2025. Following the
restoration, it earned Concours Gold awards from both the Shelby
American Automobile Club and the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals.
