This custom 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, deemed the
Carbon Daytona "D69" by ExoMod Concepts, is a one-of-one
carbon-fiber reinterpretation of the legendary 1969 Dodge Daytona.
Built from a brand-new 2022 Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye platform
powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine producing 797hp.
All original sheet metal was removed, the floor was raised for the
exhaust system and the entire body was replaced with hand-laid
carbon-fiber panels, including the roof, hood, doors and
quarter-panels. The car's proportions were reengineered to sit 4
inches wider and 5.5 inches shorter than the original Daytona, with
its widebody integrated into the carbon-fiber structure. Over 3,500
hours went into the engineering, design and construction of this
one-of-a-kind build. Completed in 2023, the D69 was unveiled at the
2023 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) and later earned 998
out of 1,000 points to win the Super Street/Modified Blue Ribbon
Award. The car was also featured at the 2024 Barrett-Jackson Cup
and the Barrett-Jackson Cup Parade, where it was showcased among
the finest custom builds in the world. This ExoMod D69 Carbon
Daytona has been featured by numerous major automotive outlets,
including Hot Rod, Drive Online, Road & Track, Dodge Garage, Motor
Authority, Driving Line and Collector Car Network. A
single-production build and the only carbon-fiber Daytona
re-creation ever constructed.
