This 1957 Chevrolet 3100 custom pickup is powered by a new 525hp
LS3 crate engine paired with a Stage III Gearstar 4L70E 4-speed
automatic transmission. Designed and built by Stafford's Garage,
this custom truck has award-winning paint and bodywork featuring a
Roadster Shop RS4 chassis. The engine bay features a Holley
Mid-Mount serpentine system, aluminum radiator with dual electric
fans and a Holley Terminator X Max engine management system. Power
is transferred through an Atlas transfer case. The exterior
showcases extensive fabrication, including a custom firewall,
custom inner fenders, grille support, radiator cover, air cleaner
and valve covers. Additional body refinements include radius door
edges, tapered and radius drip rails, and radius bedside ends. The
bed features curly maple wood with polished stainless strips,
hidden hardware and a custom-machined fuel filler. Chrome plating
was performed by Advanced Plating, and chrome Kindig-It Design door
handles and one-off billet taillights were manufactured by Greening
Auto Company. The body is properly gapped and panel-matched in
street-rod fashion, and automated electric power steps have been
added. The interior is equally detailed, with award-winning custom
craftsmanship throughout. Features include Dakota Digital RTX
gauges, a Restomod Air climate-control system with lighted billet
controls and vents, and a custom audio system with Bluetooth
capability. Genuine Apex leather and suede are paired with genuine
German square-weave carpet. Additional highlights include an Ididit
steering column, leather-wrapped Sparc Industries billet steering
wheel, billet Lokar throttle and brake pedals, and Buddy
Bucket-style seats with integrated cup holders, storage and a
custom metal center console. Braking is provided by a 16-inch big
brake kit with 6-piston billet calipers custom painted front and
rear. Additional features include polished stainless long-tube
headers by Ultimate Headers, a custom-built polished stainless
exhaust, stainless brake and fuel lines, a stainless fuel tank and
a Derale transmission cooler. All components are powder-coated,
polished or painted, and the truck features custom Milspec
completely removable body and driveline wiring harnesses. The truck
rides on one-off three-piece 20x10-inch billet wheels manufactured
by Greening Auto Company, fitted with BFGoodrich 35x12.50x20
Mud-Terrain KM3 tires. Accolades for this pickup include being a
feature vehicle at the 2024 SEMA show, Top 12 overall 2023 SEMA
Battle of the Builders, Top 3 in the Offroad category, Top 12
finalist for Goodguys Truck of the year, Top Truck and Top 25 at
Tri Five Nationals, and numerous Best of Show awards in the
southeast region, including the Triple Crown of Rodding. It has
been featured on the cover of Street Trucks magazine, in the
Goodguys Gazette, in the American Tri Five magazine and in Classic
Truck Performance magazine.
