This 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, KK No. 2536, is one of 89 examples finished in Calypso Coral and is one of 74 equipped with a Deluxe Black interior. Power comes from the original matching-numbers 429ci V8 engine rated at 375hp, backed by a Toploader 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter. Under current ownership, the car received a comprehensive mechanical restoration by Airpark Motorsports of Scottsdale, AZ, with over $30,000 in documented work. Services included a complete fuel system flush, carburetor rebuild, replacement of fire rings, cylinder head coolant seals and head bolts, transmission reseal and rebuild, clutch replacement and recore of the factory radiator.
