This 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, KK No. 2536, is one of 89 examples finished in Calypso Coral and is one of 74 equipped with a Deluxe Black interior. Power comes from the original matching-numbers 429ci V8 engine rated at 375hp, backed by a Toploader 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter. Under current ownership, the car received a comprehensive mechanical restoration by Airpark Motorsports of Scottsdale, AZ, with over $30,000 in documented work. Services included a complete fuel system flush, carburetor rebuild, replacement of fire rings, cylinder head coolant seals and head bolts, transmission reseal and rebuild, clutch replacement and recore of the factory radiator. All work was completed to factory specifications using NOS or collector-approved components.
