This custom 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray convertible is
powered by a tuned 525hp GM LS3 crate engine paired with a GM 4L75E
4-speed automatic overdrive transmission. This stunning Sting Ray
is the product of a two-year complete restoration and custom build
by Factory Hot Rods in Cincinnati, OH. It was finished in 2025 and
the car has 500 shakedown miles. Every design element on this
Corvette was handpicked during the two-year build. The exterior is
finished in a custom silver-blue metallic paint with a silver
accent stripe painted on the Stinger hood, and a white convertible
Haartz cloth top over an Ivory leather interior featuring
diamond-quilted bucket seats with C6 waterfall and private-jet
carpeting. Built on a SRIII super-tube chassis, it is fitted with
C6 ZR1 front and rear suspension components with adjustable Viking
coilover shocks, C6 ZR1 front and rear sway bars, and dual
hydraulic over electric power-assisted ABS braking with 6-piston
Wilwood calipers clamping on 14-inch rotors. The heavy-duty rear
axles with ZR1 hubs are turned by a heavy-duty aluminum 9-inch
center section with 3.55 gears. The engine is equipped with a
polished sheet metal intake using a custom cold-air intake, EVOD
polished Corvette script coil covers and a polished front drive
system. The installation includes a new GM engine management
harness and computer system with Lectric Limited wiring harnesses
front and rear. Engine cooling is accomplished by a DeWitts
polished radiator and passenger-compartment air conditioning by a
Vintage Air system. It is also equipped with Stainless Works
headers, chrome side exhaust covers, halogen headlamps, power
windows and an electric parking brake, and the engine bay was
smoothed and painted the body color. It has a Rick's stainless fuel
tank with a high-volume fuel pump. Steering is accomplished by a
Stiletto Quick Steer power rack & pinion operated by a billet and
wood-trimmed wheel on a polished Flaming River tilt column. This
Corvette connects to the asphalt with Michelin Pilot Sport tires on
C6 Corvette ZR1 chrome wheels under the stock quarter-panels,
18-inch front and 19-inch rear. The exterior is finished with twin
custom-optioned fairings behind the full-height leather bucket
seats, triple-plated chrome bumpers, Detroit Speed electric
headlight motors, 7-speed wiper system, polished brightwork and new
tinted glass. The interior features Classic Instruments gauges with
SkyDrive, a custom Bluetooth-enabled Kenwood 6-speaker sound system
with original-look radio, side mirrors with built-in LED turn
signals, door puddle lights that display the Corvette multi-color
logo and dimmable interior lighting in the doors and footwells. The
sale includes a photo album of the build, an owner's operations
manual, matching floor mats trimmed in leather and a new 1967
Corvette car cover.
