Survivor Classic Car Services Chicago is proud to present this
clean and solid 1965 Ford Mustang convertible. Originally a C-code
289 V8, this Mustang has had a heart transplant! Between the
fenders is a healthy 351 Windsor V8 sending power through a 3-speed
automatic transmission to the rear axle. The current owner has had
the car for around 10 years and has maintenance records during that
timeframe. The vehicle has been in the Chicago suburbs during that
time, but was previously in the Atlanta area, and the cleanliness
of the body shows! There does not appear to be any significant body
work or patch panels, though the car has been repainted.
A quick turn of the key will get this pony ready to gallop at any
pace you set! The engine roars to life and settles into a smooth
idle. The louvred GT trumpet exhaust tips spit a soft rumble out
back. Drop the power top and feel the wind in your face while
enjoying the open road. The suspension soaks up the bumps, the
trans flows effortlessly through the gears, and this Mustang just
eats up the miles!
