INTRODUCTION: The closer you look the more impressed you will be,
this is a meticulously restored Bronco! It retains its vintage
charm while incorporating modern performance, comfort and
reliability. The very fussy owner has put 4,200 miles on it
including a long distance trip. I swear it looks like it has 40
miles on it!
EXTERIOR: The body is pristine, straight and has uncut fenders. It
has been given flush mount fuel doors for a modern touch. The paint
is a glass finish Cactus Gray (used on new Broncos). The hardtop
was completely restored and painted a gloss white, nice contrast
against the gray. The doors are sitting on billet hinges and lift
right off if you are feeling extra adventurous. The doors have also
been modified with one piece windows for a cleaner look, the vent
windows were eliminated. All new glass and weatherstrips. I like
the custom James Duff heavy duty bumpers painted black, it has a
built in hitch receiver in back. It also has an accessory swing
away spare tire mount with a 5th matching tire and wheel. LED
headlights and taillights are a much appreciated upgrade. It does
its rolling and climbing on Copper Discoverer 31x10.5 tires wrapped
around 15 inch aluminum wheels.
INTERIOR: It was completely stripped down to a bare shell inside.
The pristine metal was sprayed with a durable bedliner. It has a
complete interior upholstery kit with matching side panels. The
seats have new cushions and upholstery. It comes with the rear seat
and as a bonus: a single person seat can be used instead to give
you options for additional cargo space. The headliner was replaced.
There is a fully integrated roll bar system with 3-point
retractable seat belts front and back. The wiring was redone and it
has a new vintage style instrument cluster with tachometer. It also
has an Ididit till column with a beautiful custom steering wheel.
The center console has locking storage and cup holders. The Winters
shifter assures you put it in the gear you want, when you want.
Electric wipers with a custom cover is a nice upgrade
aesthetically. It also has an Out of Sight Mark 3 Bluetooth stereo
and 4 Polk Audio marine speakers. Billet pedals.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very meticulous with many custom upgrades! At
the center of it all is a crate 302-292hp motor from Phoenix
Engines. It has a Comp cam, aluminum intake, Edelbrock 600 carb,
Pertronix electronic ignition and shorty headers with black
Cerakot. Wild Horses staggered 4 core radiator keeps it running
cool. Vintage Air heat and a/c system keeps the passengers comfy.
The driver will appreciate the power steering and Hydroboost power
brakes with a wilwood master cylinder. Custom made stainless
fillers, 2 tool compartments, vented inner fender shields and a
custom air intake. The battery is secured, it has upgraded gas
hinges, squirters are hooked up etc. It is show quality in here,
painted slick and even the nuts and bolts look new!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The spare tire easily swings out of the way and
the tailgates open and close with ease. The tailgate mechanisms
were replaced and upgraded, it has a stainless handle, cables
supporting the bottom and gas struts lifting the upper. The back
side of the tailgate is painted slick, inside the cargo area it is
sprayed with a durable bedliner.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for a thorough restoration.
The owner was fussy, it still looks show ready under here! Upgraded
with a Duff 2.5 inch suspension lift with LUBR blocks, axle
alignment plate, long travel shock tower, progressive rate front
coil springs, 11 leaf rear springs, rear shackle mounts, heavy duty
u-bolt plates, swaybars, progressive rate coil springs, 70/30 auto
adjusting shocks. The steering was rebuilt and upgraded with a
stabilizer bar, Tom's steering box with reinforcement bracket. The
brake system was completely replaced and upgraded with Wild Horses
4 wheel disc brake system including stainless lines and E-stop
electric parking brake. Nice sounding dual exhaust with Xcelerator
mufflers. It has a new fuel system with dual tanks. Looking up at
the motor it is spotless and has a high torque starter. The trans
is a Culhane Racing C4 automatic The driveline consists of a
rebuilt Dana 20 transfer case with Twin Sticks. In front is a
rebuilt Dana 44 center section with 4340 chromoly axles and Warn
hubs. In back is a Yukon Grizzly 9 inch locker rear end with 3.50
gears and 31 spline axles. Spicer 760 joints and extreme duty
driveshafts. Again, it is spotless under here!
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: I keep using the terms fussy and meticulous, that's
because this Bronco was extremely well built and cared for. It
speaks for itself!
