INTRODUCTION: Hit the "buy it now" right now before someone else
gets this incredible Chevelle! It has a high quality body off frame
restoration with outstanding fit, finishes and functions. Very
desirable factory colors, a GM crate motor, a 4-speed and cowl
induction!
EXTERIOR: I've just walked around this car twice and I'm going to
tell you it looks amazing. The body is absolutely straight, the
panels fit square and flush even where the hood meets the headlight
bezels. That is an actual cowl induction hood with a flapper door.
This beauty is smooth from the rockers to the roof. Repainted in
its very desirable factory Fathom Blue top and bottom without a
vinyl top. Painted with Chromabase, the metallic is laid out evenly
and the clear coat is polished smooth as glass. The white stripes
are painted on in the proper dimensions. All of the Chrome
including bumpers, bezels, handles, mirrors etc was replaced, same
goes for all of the stainless moldings, emblems and grille. The
weatherstrips have been replaced and the windshield is new. It has
reproduction 15x7 inch SS wheels in front, 15x8s in back all
wrapped in BF Goodrich tires. It even has correct T3 headlamps!
INTERIOR: Completely restored from carpet to headliner! Restored
exceptionally well too, everything fits right. The seats are
rebuilt and are firm with tight fitting upholstery. Door panels,
carpet, headliner, armrests were all replaced. The entire dash area
is restored. It has factory gauges with an LS-6 tachometer and a
working clock. That AM FM radio is actually updated with modern
internals- it's Bluetooth! The center console is new and has a
correct Muncie shifter with a chrome ball. It has 6x9 speakers
under the correct mesh rear shelf, an owner's manual in the glove
and working interior lights. All the bits and pieces are in
excellent shape. This car keeps getting better!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is immaculate and every component is proper.
The heartbeat is a GM Performance crate 454 making 450hp and 500
lbs of torque! It includes aluminum heads and intake, a dual feed
Street Avenger Holley carb, HEI ignition system and a set of Hedman
headers. Too top it off it has a complete and functional cowl
induction system. New power steering, power brake with cadmium
plated booster, wiper motor and the squirters are hooked up. The
wiring harness was replaced, alternator is fresh, horns work. It
has reproduction GM hoses and clamps along with spring clamp
battery cables. All the metal surfaces are painted beautifully, it
even has the dust shields. Everything is installed neatly, it
doesn't get much cleaner than this!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: One of the best I've seen! Talk about clean and
complete, the stickers aren't even wrinkled like they all do! Under
the trunk lid and jamb are as slick as the car. The weatherstrip,
mat and wiring harness were replaced. Inside is pristine metal with
a super clean spatter finish. It has a new matching BFG tire and SS
wheel along with a reproduction jack.
UNDERSIDE: Even underneath this car is beautiful, it was completely
rebuilt and detailed. It has the F-41 suspension which includes
swaybars and boxed rear control arms. The steering and suspension
were rebuilt. It has a Pypes stainless exhaust with x-pipe and SS
tips. The fuel system was replaced including a polished tank. The
brake system was rebuilt, lines and e-brake cables were replaced.
It has discs in front, drums in back. Looking up at the motor it is
fresh and has a new high torque starter. The M-21 4-speed was
professionally rebuilt by a Muncie specialist. The original 12
bolt, code CRU, with 3.31 posi was rebuilt with Richmond gears and
Eaton posi unit. The floors look pristine and have a gloss black
finish.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: Outstanding! I look at a lot of cars and I can really
appreciate this one. The fit, finishes and functions are
exceptional throughout. The crate 454, a 4-speed, cowl induction
and Fathom Blue are highly desirable features and this car has them
all. Not only does it have all that, it is also incredibly nice.
Don't miss this one, I sincerely mean it!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
