1960 Nash Metropolitan Convertible. Powered by a 1.5-liter inline
four-cylinder engine paired with a three-speed manual transmission,
operated via a column-mounted shifter (3-on-the-tree). A striking
red and white paint combination with chrome accents. Riding on
steel wheels with Nash wheel covers, and whitewall radial tires
that look good, but are noted to be aged. The convertible top is
manually operated, made of black vinyl inside with a cream-colored
exterior, showing some discoloration due to age. The interior
features bench seats upholstered in black and white vinyl, with
door panels matching the color scheme. The lower paint shows minor
signs of prior repairs and some paint peeling. Comes with
additional parts such as extra wheel covers, trim pieces, a jack,
and documentation. To start, have the key in the start position,
pump the gas pedal if cold, set the choke pull, then pull the
starter pull knob in the dash. Use the choke knob as needed for
drivability. The vintage radio is functional. On the road of note
is the car's surprisingly smooth ride, manageable size, and ease of
driving.
