Here’s a beautiful and fully restored original highly desirable “d” code 1964 ½ Ford Mustang. She has the 289 V8 with a 4spd transmission, posi-rearend and with the Magna Flow dual exhaust it just sounds mean. The red with white interior makes for a stellar all-around package.
The motor and transmission were rebuilt by prior owner and you can tell in the undercarriage video. That included a Holley 600 CFM carburetor, new motor and transmission mounts, water pump, fuel pump, alternator and Ford Performance valve covers. All the rubber bushings underneath from front to back and suspension have been replaced. It’s sitting on Cooper Cobra radials with American Racing Torque Thrust wheels. The front end was upgraded with disc brakes and the rear drums were completely rebuilt and new brake lines throughout. Inside has white interior with the black original steering wheel, a Retrosound system and all the glass and brightwork are in excellent condition.
