Clear coat is beginning to fade on the hood (which is aluminum) am told by custom shops it can be fixed with clear coat. 90% original paint. Never wrecked, most wear and tear parts replaced, records supplied. Power train excellent, interior immaculate and all original. No modifications whatever in gauges, hubs, or seats.
The Car and Driver article that debuted the Supra on the cover in September 1993 is quoted on the advantage of hard tops: "Our experience suggests that sport roofs should be avoided to minimize squeaks and rattles, especially in cars that feed high loadings from acceleration, braking and cornering through the structure." According to various sources, hardtops also weigh fifty pounds less and offer slightly more headroom and won't leak or rattle.
