I’ve always loved this body style in my many years in the automotive business. I’ve been fortunate to restore several charges. This by far is the best one I’ve ever purchased this vehicle Had to have spent its entire life in a dry, temperature controlled climate. no panels or ever replaced on this car. The only rust was below the rear glass which we cut out and replaced The upper rear body panel (correct repair) Even the wiring harness in this car was in great shape, typically all cracked and broken. If you saw this car when I purchased it, most people would’ve been satisfied with the way it looked. We knew it could be better. We stripped the Entire car, took every imperfection out of the body and refinished it with a Flawless jet black paint and several coats of high solids, clear. We also did the underneath of the car in a texture paint to give it a clean look we dismantled the entire interior and installed the premium sound deadening.
Mechanically, we removed the motor at 440 which was recently rebuild prior to my purchase we replaced the cam with a Voodoo high performance, roller cam installed an aluminum high-rise intake and a high-performance carburetor, along with electronic ignition and matching distributor to give us some extra power. We changed the automatic to a factory for speed with a pistol grip shifter along with a custom-made walnut handle. We change the rear end to make it a 383 Pozzi we also installed some cool Boze Wheels, big tires and four wheel Willwood disc brake system. we also installed a Killer sound system
