RARE / COLLECTOR / SHOW VEHICLE. 1977 Ford Mustang II, GHIA model (driven by Jaclyn Smith in Charlies Angels). Has a the original V8 with the 302 motor and is running fantastic. 43k original miles. Hate to sell but I'm not able to get to events or display her in a manner like she should, where others can see, appreciate and enjoy this unique/special piece of automotive history. It receives "beyond attention" attention. Some say it's a Gen 2, some say it's a Gen 3, but if you're looking for a Ford Mustang II to complete your collection, or add to your museum, you probably don't have to look any further. At car shows/events, it draws more attention than the 60's Mustangs, because of it's condition and rarity. Usually wins the 70s stock division award(s). Exterior a 9.5. Just had its first professional re-paint by an experienced 35 year old body shop person. Interior is all original. A 9.5. Trunk inside is excellent. The only thing that does not work that I am aware of is the temperature gauge. Brand new radial TA's put on. Brand new exhaust and Thrush muffler put on. Brand new starter. Brand new water pump. Solid undercarriage. Very clean and not coated with black material like one sees on a lot of classic cars for sale. Only minor 'surface' rust on leaf springs, rear axle, etc. otherwise, rust free. Zero leaks on garage floor. Original Wheels in excellent shape. Wish all prospective purchasers could see it in person. Hate to use the word 'Time Capsule', but that's what people call it. Comes with a host of other new parts that I wanted to have on hand in case I needed one, that I bought from RockAuto. Life motto: live by the 'Golden Rule'.
