Ford was very proud of the two offerings for 1938. The Standard and the Deluxe with V8 Power. We think the Standard with the side sweeping grill looks better, and the builder of our 38 Standard shared the same sentiment. This beautiful model here is complete, extensive, no expense spared build and the results are breathtaking. The car was a complete body off the frame project of a rust free car. Powered by a 401 cubic inch Buick "Nailhead" backed up with a GM Turbo 400 transmission. The rear end is a 9 inch Ford. Mustang rack and pinion up front with electric power steering. All of this on four wheel power disc brakes. All new custom leather interior with vintage air and heat. Custom sound system with AM/FM/CD with "Bluetooth" capability. Rolling on polished Torq Thrust wheels and BF Goodrich radial T/A tires. As we stated, this was a professional build and no stones were left unturned. This car drives like a modern automobile.
