This 1966 Volkswagen Type II 23-Window Conversion received a full
frame-off restoration on a Brazilian model, with chassis sections,
side panels, gutters and rails replaced or restored throughout. It
is powered by a rebuilt 1500cc flat-four engine with renewed
crankshaft, rods, bearings and bushings, paired to a serviced
manual transmission featuring updated synchronizer rings and
refreshed crown and pinion gears. Refinished in its original
factory two-tone Blue and White, the paint, trim, moldings and
emblems all present beautifully, with a period-correct belly pan
added for extra underbody rigidity and protection. The interior was
completely redone in original-style materials and patterns,
including restored seats, dashboard, door panels and interior trim.
Suspension has been upgraded with a lowered setup and
roller-mounted components such as the center pin and spindles for
improved drivability. Additional restoration highlights include a
fully rewired electrical system with new wiring, connectors and
