Dressed in a Frost White paint job, this 1986 Chevrolet C10
Silverado short-bed pickup is one good-looking truck. The bumpers
are shiny, along with all the moldings, accents, and badges. The
stock wheels, with the Chevy center caps and beauty rings, look
good. The front grille and headlights are in great shape, as is the
rear tailgate design. The stance is perfect, and the dual exhaust
coming out of the side of the rear quarter panel is an interesting
touch.
The interior of this truck is equally impressive and the Burgundy
and Maroon color scheme goes great with the Frost White paint. The
stock radio remains in its original location, but there is actually
a Kenwood Bluetooth controller for your listening pleasure. The
dash as well as the gauge cluster looks clean and clear, and the
OEM steering wheel looks like it has hardly been touched. The door
panels, carpet, bench seats, and headliner all look super
clean.
Under the hood is just as clean as the interior and everything
looks pretty much original. A Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor
delivers fuel to a GM 305 cubic-inch V8, and that engine setup is
connected to a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission that links to a
10-bolt rear axle. The front and rear suspension is stock-style and
the 15-inch Chevy rims are also stock-style with 255/70R15 Cooper
tires on all four corners. This Chevy gets its stopping power from
power front disc brakes and power rear drums, and the exhaust is a
stock-style setup as well.
